The Adventures of Ashanti & Skully is a middle-grade dark adventure series from Thane Xavier. Ashanti is curious about everything — especially the things the adults won’t explain. Skully is loyal about everything, including following her to places they probably shouldn’t go.
The series takes young readers into woods that are bigger than they look, across thresholds they didn’t know were there, and face-to-face with whatever is waiting on the other side. Dark, not cruel. Brave, not reckless. For readers old enough to meet a real monster and decide, on their own, what to do about it.
